Polymer conformation and stability in solution

Know the polymer conformation and the stability of a polymer solution are of central importance for many applications. This can be done by combining different methods (viscometry light scattering, GPC with triple detection or static and dynamic light scattering). Determining the Huggins constant (viscometry) or the Mark–Houwink coefficients allow us to predict the stability and the conformation in solution.
