The Institute of Applied Synthetic Chemistry is divided into 3 main research units, each with one or more research groups:

• Inorganic Chemistry
• Macromolecular Chemistry
• Organic & Biological Chemistry

We are very pleased to announce that members of the institute received an award at the Pro Didactica 2024. Georg Steinhauser as  lecturer of the "Grundlagen der Chemie" and the team of the "Chemische Rechenübungen" (Rosenberg/Limbeck/Krebs) were recognized as the "Most improved VO/VU/SE" - congratulations to all!!
